Slimr

The agreement between you and Slimr.

These Terms govern your use of the Slimr iPhone app and related services. They are written to be readable rather than intimidating, but they are still a legal contract — please read them.

Effective date: May 1, 2026 · Last updated: May 1, 2026

1. Acceptance

By downloading, installing, or using the Slimr application (the "App"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not install or use the App. The App is published by Ian Fernández ("Slimr", "we", "us"). These Terms incorporate by reference the Privacy Policy and the Apple Standard EULA.

2. What Slimr is

Slimr is an iOS application that helps you log and review information about your weight, body composition, hydration, GLP-1 medication, and meals. It is intended for personal, informational, and educational use. Slimr is not:

3. Medical disclaimer

Slimr provides information and tools to help you organize your own health journey. It does not provide medical advice. The output of any AI feature, the GLP-1 titration schedules, the meal plans, the hydration goals, and the body-composition summaries are informational only.

Always consult a qualified healthcare professional before starting, changing, or stopping any medication or treatment, including GLP-1 receptor agonists such as Ozempic, Wegovy, Mounjaro, Zepbound, Saxenda, or Rybelsus. Do not disregard professional medical advice because of something you read or generated in the App. If you think you may be experiencing a medical emergency, call your local emergency number immediately.

4. Identity & account

Slimr does not require an account. You are identified to our backend by an anonymous device UUID generated locally and persisted in your iCloud Keychain. There is no email, no password, no "continue with" button.

Because there is no account, there is also no way for us to recover your data if you lose access to your iPhone and your Apple ID. Your data lives on your device and in your iCloud — both are managed by Apple. We strongly recommend keeping your Apple ID secure and your iCloud backup enabled.

If you reinstall the App on a new device while signed in to the same iCloud account, your data will sync from CloudKit. If you sign out of iCloud or use a different Apple ID, the local install will start with no synced history.

5. Subscriptions & pricing

Slimr offers a free tier and three Pro plans purchased through Apple In-App Purchase:

All prices are charged in your local currency at the rate set by Apple for your App Store storefront and may differ from the U.S. dollar amounts above. Apple may also adjust pricing tiers from time to time and the App will display the current price before purchase.

Auto-renewal. Subscription plans renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends. Your Apple ID will be charged for the renewal within 24 hours before the period ends. You can manage and cancel subscriptions any time in Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions on your iPhone.

Refunds. All payments are processed by Apple. Refund requests are handled by Apple under their standard refund policy. We cannot issue refunds directly. To request one, visit reportaproblem.apple.com.

6. Free trial

The Annual plan includes a 7-day free trial when redeemed for the first time per Apple ID. To avoid being charged at the end of the trial, cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, in Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions. If you do not cancel, the Annual plan begins automatically and your Apple ID is charged the then-current Annual price.

The Monthly plan does not include a free trial. The Lifetime purchase is a one-time payment with no trial.

7. Family Sharing

The Annual and Lifetime plans support Apple Family Sharing. Once you are subscribed or have purchased Lifetime, members of your Apple Family Group can access Pro features on their own Apple IDs (each with their own private data). The Monthly plan does not support Family Sharing — only the purchaser's Apple ID gets Pro access.

Family Sharing is governed by Apple. Each family member's data remains in their own iCloud and is not visible to other members.

8. Lifetime purchase

"Lifetime" means the operational lifetime of the Slimr product as offered by us — not the lifetime of any individual user. We do not have a planned end date and we will use commercially reasonable efforts to keep Slimr available, but we cannot promise the App will operate indefinitely. If we discontinue Slimr or are required by Apple to remove it from the App Store, the lifetime purchase is non-refundable beyond Apple's standard refund window.

The Lifetime purchase is tied to the Apple ID that bought it (and to its Family Group, where supported). It is not transferable, resellable, or convertible to currency.

9. Acceptable use

When using Slimr you agree not to:

We may suspend or terminate access to backend services (including Slimr AI and entitlement validation) for any account or device that violates these rules. Local on-device functionality that does not require the backend may continue to work.

10. Intellectual property

The App, the Slimr brand, the website at slimr.health, and all related code, designs, copy, and graphics are owned by Slimr or its licensors. Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the App on Apple devices that you own or control, for personal use only.

You retain all rights to the content you create or upload (your weights, plans, photos, notes, etc.). See §11.

11. Your data

You own your data. We do not claim ownership of any health data, photos, notes, or other content you create in the App. Our handling of your data is described in detail in the Privacy Policy.

To the limited extent we need a license to operate the service — for example, to relay a Slimr AI request through our backend so it can be processed and returned to your device — you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free license to host, process, and transmit that specific content for that specific purpose, only for as long as needed to deliver the result. We do not use your content to train AI models, build advertising profiles, or for any purpose unrelated to operating the App.

12. Disclaimers

The App and any backend services are provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by law, Slimr disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, and uninterrupted availability.

We do not warrant that the App will be free of bugs, that AI outputs will be accurate, that the service will be available at any specific time, or that data sync will succeed in every circumstance. Apple iCloud, the App Store, RevenueCat, Cloudflare, and Anthropic are operated by third parties and we are not responsible for their availability or behavior.

13. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event will Slimr, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, or contractors be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses, arising out of or in connection with your use of (or inability to use) the App.

Slimr's total cumulative liability arising out of or related to these Terms or the App will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid to Apple for Slimr in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) US$50.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or limitations of liability, so the limitations above may not apply to you in full. In such jurisdictions our liability is limited to the smallest extent permitted by law.

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Slimr and its affiliates from any claim, demand, loss, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of (a) your breach of these Terms, (b) your misuse of the App, or (c) content you submit through the App in violation of any applicable law or third-party right.

15. Termination

You may stop using Slimr at any time. To delete your data, remove records inside the App and uninstall it; to remove the synchronized copy, delete the App from your Apple ID and clear the corresponding CloudKit storage from Settings → [your name] → iCloud → Manage Account Storage → Slimr. To remove your backend records, contact us per §18.

We may terminate or suspend access to the App or to backend services if you violate these Terms or if continued operation would expose us, other users, or the service to material risk. Where reasonable, we will give notice before doing so.

Sections that by their nature should survive termination — including §10 (IP), §11 (Your data), §12 (Disclaimers), §13 (Liability), §14 (Indemnification), §16 (Governing law), and §18 (Contact) — will survive.

16. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Dominican Republic, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising out of or related to these Terms or the App will be resolved in the competent courts of Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, except that you may bring small-claims actions in your local court if applicable. Nothing in this section limits any non-waivable consumer-protection rights you may have under the laws of your country of residence.

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest of the Terms will remain in effect. Our failure to enforce any right is not a waiver of that right.

17. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When changes are material, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and surface a notice in the App before the new Terms take effect. Continuing to use Slimr after a change indicates your acceptance.
